Piano Miniature No. 12 (2013)

Notes:

My 12^th Piano Miniature is a little song without words. The tempo and unadorned lyricism is partly inspired by my love for the early Tin Pan Alley tear-jerker ballads. The secret unsung lyrics are from a poem by Seamus Heaney. This miniature was my first gentle reaction to his death and is dedicated to Seamus in gratitude for his generosity and friendship toward me.
